Back by popular request is our annual night hike with movie. This year we have a new starting point and are setting off from Mistral HQ, Centenary Hall in Hellaby with a new route taking us back to the Scout hut in Bramley (14th Rotherham HQ). On arrival back at the hut we will have pizza before settling down to watch a movie. The cost this year is £6.50 due to the rising food prices but will still include breakfast on Saturday morning. How cold will it be this year? Has Malc ordered snow?
New for 2024 is our Christmas fun sleepover. You asked for Christmas dinner with crackers, Christmas Jumpers, a Christmas tree, a secret santa and chill out time. So here it is. Join us for our Christmas celebration camp, and I guarantee lasagne will not be on the menu for this event as Kate is cooking a Christmas dinner. The cost for this event is £30, secret santa gift included. Oh and it’s indoor accommodation which unfortunately means that numbers will be limited according to bed space in the building.
Once again we are hosting our annual presentation night at The Fitzwilliam Arms Hotel at Parkgate. For those of you that are new to the 14-24 section, (Explorers and Network) it’s a chance for you to see the adventures that we had during 2024 and will be a taste of what is to come for 2025. For those of you that have been with us a while we will have the usual video featuring our adventures through 2024, will you be on it? The cost of this event is £15 which includes a buffet and disco. There is also a free raffle ticket for every youth member who attends this event. This event is open to all 14-24 youth members and leaders and as such it will be a non alcohol event. Bookings for this event will close 26.01.25.
